Thank You Dover was a series of digital collages installed in the busy shopping areas of Dover including Biggin Street, Cannon Street, Bench Street and Market Square.
The signs aimed to brighten up the streets, thank people for following safety messages while reminding people to physically distance and regularly wash their hands.
Using a combination of contemporary, nostalgic, and local imagery the digital collages were bespoke to the town of Dover.
The artworks were on display between 1 May – 19 July 2021.
Thank You Dover was commissioned by Dover District Council as part of their reopening high streets safely project during the COVID-19 pandemic. The commission was funded by Dover District Council, HM Government and EU European Structural and Investment Fund.
