Sublimation
Sublimation dye printing is an awesome process with many possibilities for creative design. By using special disperse dyes and a heat press, we can get experimental using stencils, natural materials, or collage to make one-of-a-kind designs on textiles, wood, or metal products.

Schools Project
With Godinton House & Gardens
Becky collaborated with local school groups near Godinton House & Gardens in Ashford to create an installation for Sculpture in the Garden.
Children from Brook Community, Goat Lees, and Smeeth Primary Schools visited Godinton House & Gardens for fun workshops with artist Becky and education officer Helen, getting inspired by special objects and rooms in the house. They used plates as conversation starters, discovered the origins of the Chinese room’s wallpaper, and learned about the upcycled stained glass feature of the staircase.
The children used collage, painting, and sublimation dye printing techniques to create detailed artworks on recycled ripstop fabric. Their artworks were displayed as large banners throughout July and August 2024 and a special celebration event was held for families.
During the 2024 summer holidays, Becky ran family workshops every Wednesday afternoon for visitors to make mini banners.

Born to Dream
Commission with Power of Women Thanet
Becky was delighted to collaborate with the Power of Women Festival in Thanet for their 2024 festival theme of Rest. She led engaging workshops for various community groups, including Beyond the Page, Age UK, Pie Factory Ramsgate, Tree Tops Care Home, and ARK Cliftonville, as well as workshops for the general public.
During these creative sessions, participants delved into the art of sublimation printing and skillfully crafted cushion covers and eye masks. These uniquely designed items were later used for a special group meditation event at Turner Contemporary on International Women’s Day 2024, adding a touch of creativity and inspiration to the meaningful occasion.
