Primary and Secondary School Art Workshops

Creative, hands-on school art workshops, artist residencies, and whole-school co-created installations that bring learning to life through making. Alongside this, I offer staff CPD sessions for teachers, sharing participatory, process-led approaches using printmaking, textiles, and collaborative art. Each project is tailored to the school, encouraging imagination, confidence, and inclusive creative engagement across all ages and abilities.

Transforming School Playgrounds with Collaborative Art

Becky worked with all children at Whitstable Juniors to co-create a large-scale outdoor artwork, transforming the playground fence into a permanent installation as part of a short artist residency.

The artwork is made up of individually painted circles, each designed by a child and inspired by landscapes from around the world, including oceans, mountains, deserts, and polar regions.

Alongside this, children created a temporary fabric bunting installation reflecting weather and textures from these landscapes.

The project culminated in a whole-school celebration and unveiling, with performances, speeches, and families invited to see the finished work transform the playground.

Infant School Artist Residency

Becky was artist-in-residence at Westmeads Community Infants School in Whitstable, leading a whole-school community art project focused on wellbeing during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Working with 180 pupils and staff, children explored happiness through drawing, printmaking, and painting, inspired by nature, home, and relationships.

The residency culminated in Our Rainbow, a large-scale fabric banner installation displayed in the school hall, transforming the space with colour and children’s artwork.

Becky also delivered teacher CPD sessions in printmaking and creative classroom practice, supporting ongoing arts education in schools.
