Bright Shadow’s Zest programme offers a range of creative activities and inspiring resources for people living with dementia and their families and their loved ones.
In May 2023 Becky led a block of creative workshops over 5 weeks with the groups who meet weekly in Canterbury, Whitstable, Dover and Hythe.
Across the four groups they designed and made a new background to promote the charities work at events, conferences and drop-in workshops.
There’s a multifunctional pegboard with interchangeable handling objects and photos to share the broad range of arts explored in the sessions, including aerial hoop skills, a travelling armchair company and African drumming!
Alongside this sits a wooden rail with a felt artwork made mostly of hands sewn together, this offers an eye catching, soft and sound absorbing texture to compliment the interactive board.
