I facilitated online collage workshops for people living with dementia and those who support them with the charity SoundUp Arts.
During the summer of 2021 I designed two collage kits that were posted to participants in advance, each containing printed images, colourful papers, glue sticks and scissors on the theme of summer holidays and bird watching.
I hosted two workshops on zoom where we developed skills and built confidence in collage techniques.
At the end each person summarised how they felt in one word, these included: calm, creative, proud and excited.
