Activity
To celebrate the opening of The Pudding Pan Rock exhibition at The Horsebidge Arts Centre in Whitstable I facilitated a drop-in workshop where visitors collaboratively decorated a table cloth with handmade stamps.

The Pudding Pan Rock exhibition celebrates a year long project where young people have been exploring the local Roman and Victorian pudding pan history.

I worked with the Young History Makers from the project to help them to create bespoke stamps sharing the key moments from the project, this included roman pottery, a ship wreck, photography and aliens.

On the opening day visitors to the exhibition used the stamps to decorate a table cloth which was later used at a celebratory community meal.

We also created more button badges (see previous workshop), these badges helped visitors to capture the knowledge they had learnt from the exhibition to pass on to someone else.

The Young History Makers project and exhibition were funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
