Project Assistant
For three years I worked on a collaborative community led arts project in Newington, Ramsgate for People United alongside artists and local residents.
I supported many elements of the project including:
- a community led arts festival called Best Fest
- weekly inter-generational arts group called Creative Champions
- community led artist commission Hug Bag
- youth group trips to arts and cultural activities
- resident project steering group
- youth led social action projects
- plaques celebrating everyday heroes
- Arts & Kindness Week at Dame Janet Primary Academy
- Research & Evaluation
